Mark 14:27-31 And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, because it is written, ‘I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.’ But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” But Peter said to Him, “Even though all may fall away, yet I will not.” And Jesus said to him, “Truly I say to you, that this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.” But Peter kept saying insistently, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all were saying the same thing also.
Jesus speaks things before they happen. This proves He is God, the Messiah. He is truth and cannot lie.
Notice also that Jesus knows things about us that we don't know about ourselves. See what Jesus said about Peter. Jesus tells Peter things about himself that Peter didn't know about himself. Peter even argues with Jesus about this forgetting what it says in Psalm 139.
Notice Psalm 139:1-5
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
You have enclosed me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
Jesus knew things about Peter that he didn't even know about himself, and the same it true about you. God knows everything about you. If you want know something about yourself? About your heart? About your thoughts? It's all in the Bible.
