God always secures the object of His love.
John 6:30 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never turn away.
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
God always secures the object of His love. John 6:30 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never turn away.

It is true that this scripture is in the Bible, but later (around 85 AD) Jesus Himself dictated the book of Revelations to Apostle John on the Isle of Patmos. In chapter 3 Jesus tells John that there are still a few people in the church that have not stained their clothes and had their names REMOVED from the Lamb's Book of Life.

Thank you for visiting this page. I always love to hear from others. In this case I am going to be honest that I disagree with your analysis of scripture for a host of reasons not the least of which is that your interpretation of that section of The Revelation of Jesus Christ by John tries to imply that Jesus is not the one who is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2) or that Jesus would leave us hanging when He promised to complete us (Phil. 1:6) You see, if our salvation was somehow left to us we would surely lose it as fallen human sinners. That is why it is so comforting to know that is isn't up to us.

In John's Gospel it says: John 6:30 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never turn away.

Thank you for your reply. I am so happy to dig into the Word with my brothers and sisters. This is who we all learn. I also like how you shared those verses with us, so that I can understand where you are coming from. However, after reading your reply, and reading the verses in context, I still disagree that salvation can be lost. Salvation is accomplished and given to those whose names were chosen before the foundation of the earth. There is no giant eraser because God does not change His mind. Also, He does not choose us based on our works or our own righteousness which is precisely why this is Good News. Also, if we had to do something to get or maintain it, then we could boast.

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for your reply. Brother, I think we are going to have to agree to disagree here about losing our helmet of salvation.

Thank you for your reply and I have no problem with your response, as I never try to ram my opinion down anybody's throat. But the question still remains:
